Project planning and designing due to all phases of HOAI (official scale of fees for services by architects and engineers) from the general survey to the preparation of contract award and execution.

The HOAI is the Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers in Germany, defining all services and fees in comprehensive form.

Fees for architects and engineers covers most regular services in particular areas where the fees depend on the degree of difficulty and the building costs (so-called chargeable costs) and are shown in fees tables.

The Performance phases of the HVAC-R and Plumbing systems design (HOAI) are:

    • Establishing the groundwork(establishing the basis of the project): Establishing the requirements needed for the solution of the project.
    • Preplanning (project and planning preparation - preliminary design): Work out the main aspects to the solution of the project.
    • Draft planning ( system and integration planning - final design): Preparation of the final solution of the project.
    • Approval planning (planning application): Submission of the necessary papers for the official approval. This performance phase also includes the preparation of a cost assumption and construction development plans.
    • Construction planning (execution drawings): Working out, prepare and representing the complete solution. Construction planning with preparation of performance specifications and involvement in awarding the contracts based on the draft planning approved by the customer. This planning includes interior construction, to a lower extend the outside facilities as well as the technical equipment according to the customer's specification.
    • Preparation of the order placement (preparation for contract placement): Determining the quantity and listing the performance table.
    • Participation in the order placement (assisting with contract placement): Checking out the offers and participation in the negotiations.
    • Construction Supervision (project supervision): Construction supervision with local construction site managers for all segments and coordination of deliveries and installation services of third parties, the setup of security plans according to the construction site regulations, regular conducting of construction meetings with results protocols as well as the supervision of time and cost plans. In addition, all data required by the customer about the overall project monitoring are to be prepared, inspections of the works and performances of all segments with results protocols are to be conducted as well as the supervision of deficiency elimination. Conducting measurements with following invoice verification as well as applying for inspections by the authorities is also part of the performance spectrum.
    • Project management and documentation: Documentation with preparing and compilation of necessary fact drawings and technical documentation with a conclusive report and listing of all warranty periods.
